The best site/store for online books?
I have a Sony eBook Reader.. and I was wondering if there was a really good store for books. Because I hear people use things other than just the eBook store? Something like that.
Also, the ONE book I’m using this thing for wasn’t in the store. Disappoint.
(The Fox and the Hound, anyone?)
Books on Board, Fictionwise, Omnilit. I know there are others. The Sony Reader Store has a request form for books that aren’t on their site–I’ve used it and had the book appear in less than a week.
Don’t bother with Amazon or Barnes & Noble–those books will not work in a Sony Reader.
I usually hit the publisher’s or author’s website if I don’t know where to find a book–there is often links to sites where you can purchase the title.
You can also use Sony’s Library Finder link to search the public library system.
